My new tangle Twin-HeartiZen

Tangle Heartizen and Crezendo

Today on June 28, 2021, we played with my new tangle pattern Twin-HeartiZen (earlier called HeartiZen Version02).

This tangle is a variation or an inspiration drawn from the previous Tangle HeartiZen, that I introduced early Feb 2021, during our live series on Facebook.

This is a fun pattern and though it looks a bit complicated, the step-out is quite simple. So far I really do not have a drawing step-out for this tangle pattern; however I could not contain my excitement and I made a video-tutorial of this tangle pattern.

We had an Instagram Live Session and later uploaded the same video on YouTube here.

This piece of tangle pattern appeared onto the paper and surprised me with its interesting elements of strokes. In the Zentangle world, this often happens to tanglers who are in zen flow. In February 2021, we played nearly 12 Days of Heartizen, celebrating love, bonding time with art. We stylized many tangle patterns with hearts. So such was my creative spirit, that, unawarely, I turned into the creative zone; wherein only fun, ideas, games, and style came into existence.

And this is what I love about Zentangle® Art.

Even in the initial days of my art practice, when I had a shaky hands and stiff fingers and also probably laid my whole body weight onto that poor thin nib of Sakura Pigma Micron01 ;-) wink :-D grin…..I thoroughly enjoyed the creativity of Zentangle. Everyday I felt like I woke, ate and slept in a different world. Ofcourse, my family and friends have gone awry. They found me talking like an alien (hehehe) but were still nice and supportive.

My favourite tools to create my favourite art pieces are the basic materials - Pigma Micron Pen, A pencil, A tortillon and small 3.5 Zentangle tile (paper). With these materials, I could easily let go of the need for perfection that I so dearly have held on to, from my childhood. But, in those perfect moments of Dec 2015, I embraced Zentangle® I embraced the Zentangle® form of art for its simplicity and dialled into my letting go spirit. I have come to this understanding that, It is only when we keep down our burdens, we realise how much weight we actually carried on, in our shoulders.

Here I have attached my artworks; along with a video tutorial. Maybe the video could be noisy and not as clean as my recent ones; but I hope it's helpful to just begin with.

Later some days, I will attach the downloadable step-out pdf of Twin-HeartiZen.
