So here goes the blog -
A few weeks ago, I posted the Step_Outs of Tangle Veera on the Socials, and it immediately found attention from seasoned tanglers. Many thanks to CZT Melinda Barlow for showing my tangle video in her youtube tutorial.
Here, in this blog, you will find more inspiration for this tangle. I have also two youtube video tutorials using my new Tangle Veera and I am going to post the link to both these videos in this blog.
Tangle Veera is a versatile Tangle Pattern and could be played in many different ways. It can be played as an Organic Tangle Pattern; in a Grid Pattern, on a Zendala as a Border Tangle Pattern, etc.
Take a deep breath and enjoy the rest of the blog! Also please leave a comment/review below, if you found this blog useful.
Here, on Youtube, we played with Tangle Veera as a single fragment. The easiest way to do this is to rotate your Zentile clockwise and anticlockwise. I have shown Step by Step Video Tutorial of Tangle Veera here on my Youtube Channel, as a part of my Weekly TangleInSync Sessions.
Other Tangles I have used are Bubbles and Marasu.
Here, in this Zentangle Illustration, I have tried to use Tangle Veera in this Monotangle Exploration as a fragment, in the centre as well as I have used it as a border. The corners asked for something, so I added Tangle Fluxecho for decoration. I have used beautiful Gansai Tambi Opaque Watercolor Paints, for the nice pink-red luster of color. I have also used Senneliers Gold Gauche paints for enhancing this beautiful regal-looking artwork.
I and my daughter are recently very fond of attractive pink/red paint color. We have bought nail paints and lipsticks in the same colour too! he he he :-D 😂
In the next two examples, I have used Tangle Veera on a Zendala. It turned out to be very ornamentallish (if that is even a word), but it genuinely reminds me of the carvings and engraved royally.

And then one day I wanted to complete this Zentile from my last ZenGem Zentangle Workshop. So I decorated the ZenGem with Tangle Veera. I also added slight watercolour to the background and then tangled over it. It is one of the easiest ways to add colours to your Zentile. Just be careful, that the residue from watercolours doesn't clog your Sakura Micron 01 Pen.

And lastly, I once again played with Tangle Veera on a Zendala, with a very complex, yet beautiful Tangle Una. I had to practice a few times, to understand the step-outs of Una, but once I got a hang of it; I could take a video shoot for my TangleInSync Youtube Tutorial.
If you are an experienced Tangler and enjoy some challenges, then you may enjoy this session very much.
