This pandemic year 2020 has taught us so much. We not only planned, on the ration of groceries and household items, but it even brought notice on the many items we keep buying and stock our shelves throughout the year, that are not going to be of any use until we step outside our home. Amongst the same scenaria, it taught me, to make Best use of time and all the things available at home. I drastically went short of ZenTiles (the cardstock we use for Zentangle), and it was the same condition with almost all Zentangle Teachers and tanglers in India. The pandemic was on peak and we were under lockdown for months together. In such times, I had to come up with some idea, so I do not chuck out of my goal-list of drawing for 31Days for MonsoonZen2020.

I then, brought out of the extra White Round Zentiles (about 4.15inches in dia) out of my cupboard, got a single hole puncher, punched my tile with two holes, then, I had some craft threads, so I tied about 20 Zentiles together, and then using a Gel Medium, held them stuck to the sides.

I started posting my Handmade Roundbook, small artwork on Instagram, when a local stationery shop, thought it was a great idea and they came out with their own line of Round Books. He sent me a book as gift too!

So this is what I created in the Creative Juice Zen series 02

Hope you are enjoying the little reading material and my bit of art sharing through this blog!

I would love to know, what is your creative process, when you start to draw or paint?
