String Zendala (now available) Nov 2024
I have lately been playing with String Zendalas, which I started to work on last year. Last year I had created over 21 Strings using the Markus Operandus Tool, designed and created by Maria Thomas. Unfortunately I am not able to find those string prompts; except the scan reference that I have now. So I am re-constructing those strings and a few more. And this time, right away I am going to keep a .pdf copy of them; in case I want to use it for future use.

So today was my turn to send out a prompt for the Moon Phases Mosaic Group. And I thought why not the beautiful tangle artists in the group enjoy playing with one of my String Zendala. Thus I have uploaded a .pdf copy of the String Zendala in the group.
Zendala String have 8 flower petal-like shapes. I tried to keep the string simple and easy; so that anyone can create a Zendala Art using any tangle of their choice.

I chose some simple easy tangle patterns - Mooka Simplified, Purk, Bales and my own Tangle Heartizen.
Tangle Heartizen was chosen as one of the organic patterns and was published in The Book of Botanical Tangles 3 by CZT Mahe Zehra Husain also goes by MZ Creates on Amazon. Also my another tangle pattern too was published in her second book The Book of Botanical Tangles 2
These books are available for free if you have Kindle Unlimited or else you can buy a Kindle Version for less than 12$ (INR 850/- approx). CZT Mahe Zehra has kindly given me a generous credit on her Amazon listing. I am just adding a screenshot of it here, for my personal memories. 🙂
