Art away from home -02

So my friend recently teased me that I travel so very much. From north of Delhi to southy Chennai, and then to the West of Gujarat; also changed and lived in so many cities across India… Its more and more getting interesting to answer questions of What is my mother tongue? Where do I live? What do I do? What language do you speak at home? Which God do you pray (not sure, if we have so many Gods?)? What items do you cook? BECAUSE ANSWERS TO ALL THESE QUESTIONS ARE SO DIFFERENT, AND UNRELATED. I have truly become An Indian who has no home, speaking multiple languages at home, praying to Only One God out of 33crores of (Pauranic Indian Dieties), cooking different cultural foods, also involved in varied activities, etc. Or else, I can say that I have homes everywhere, I have family everywhere, I merge into all cultures, traditions, languages and relish even the littlest things of life. 🥰

My Art too speaks of these differences. I can’t chase my style, since I change and grow from time and time.

This artwork I did in Nov 2019, on a seashore of Chennai.

A very #beachytangleart! I was so immersed into listening the sea-sounds, so much that it deafened every other unwanted thoughts and sounds in my mind. It was a windy eve, so I held tightly with one hand and tangled. Later on I took a pleasant long walk in the waters. I enjoyed my solo rest day in middle of much hustle in life. #zentangle #mindfultangling #mooka #icantoo
