HeartiZen2022 - Day2 - Tangle 8Sam
On Day2 of Heartizen2022, we play with Tangle 8Sam deconstructed by Simon Bischoff. Simone Bischoff has many patterns to her name. You can find lists of all her tangles on her blog. You may want to particularly check her Tangle Florentine which is a lovely heart-shaped tangle.
I particularly chose Tangle 8Sam and imagined it as a beautiful border like pattern. The pattern looks complicated initially, but Simone has given such an easy step-out for this pattern. When I followed the steps of drawing, they seemed possible and simple.
To include in my HeartiZen2022, I took some artistic liberty and slightly changed the step-outs of the original tangle pattern. You can find some of the ideas here.

I enjoyed creating hearts “in a bow-like shape” like we see in a minnie mouse character. 😊
Here, I show you the two ways of drawing this tangle pattern – you can draw whichever way, suits your style and ease.
Tangle 8Sam as a lace; with a slight touch of Zenith in the ends! :)

Tools & Materials: 3 ½ inch Zentile, Sakura Micron 01 Black pen, Micron 01 Brown (2nd pic), 2B pencil and tortillon.

Tip:
If you feel intimidated by the number of knots and lines; then you can give some practice on a rough sheet of paper; until you get the hang of Tangle 8Sam.
